Candy Crush Saga

Hypothesis:

Achieving unique offers that target player progression will convert new users and monetise already converted ones.

Scope:

  1. We added a Special Milestone Pin on the long transition bridge between chapters (every 5 episodes = 75 levels) that highlights the player’s progress.

  2. The player will get a small reward before the offers are presented.

  3. Three different Pin states: locked, available, completed.

  4. Pop-up that you can open from Available Pins.

  5. Offer purchasable from Available Pins.

Milestone Bundle

I’ve worked on the layout of the bundle with the requirement of displaying 3 tiers of rewards as well as planning to display just one and have an AB test.

Letting the player choose between multiple unique (non-shop) offers in a bundle form is something that never has been tried in Candy before.

Most projects at King are a creative collaboration, this being no exception.
