My experience
I’m Filippo, a Principal UX/UI Designer based in London with 10+ years of experience across AAA games, AR/VR, and live-ops. I specialise in systems design, scalable UI frameworks, and accessibility-first user experiences, while staying hands-on with feature design and delivery.
At Splash Damage, I help lead and support UX/UI work on large-scale AAA projects. My focus spans design systems, typography and scaling, UI architecture, and cross-team alignment. I also mentor designers across the studio and contribute to standards, guidelines, and best practices that support long-term product health.
Before Splash Damage, I worked at King (Activision Blizzard) on Candy Crush Saga, where I contributed to features including the Candy All Stars Tournament. Prior to that, I was the first UX/UI Designer at Zappar, designing AR/VR/MR interfaces for clients such as Disney, Rovio, and others.
My career began at Just Funny Games in Italy, where I discovered my passion for UI and learned how to translate game design, art, and player psychology into cohesive interactive systems. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to creating interfaces that are clear, accessible, and robust across platforms and screen sizes.
